Frame: Diecast Aluminum
Here are a couple of advantages of die-casting over stamping speaker frames.
One of the more noticeable differences is the fact that a die-cast frame has better Resonant Frequencies. This means that the frame is able to absorb and transfer much of the energy produced by the speaker. It doesn’t vibrate like a bell would when it is stricken.
Another advantage is that a die-cast frame is more durable and harder to damage or break.
